On the Cheap - The Smart Circle
I came across something that has the potential to be a big money saver, but I have not tried it out myself yet. For those of you brave enough to try without me having done it first, check out The Smart Circle. I came across it today, and I plan on using it for some specials for Atlanta Braves tickets, and some other neat stuff I looked into. The specials are almost too good to be true, so there is certainly the potential for fraud or some unforeseen charges. I am two degrees away from someone who has used them for tickets to a comedy club, and they did not have anything fishy happen, so I will start out with something small and let you know how it pans out. If you have used this discount program before, or if you know someone who has, please give the rest of us a summary of the experience in the comments.

I bought Smart Circle tickets to Braves games but have not tried to use em yet. I am REALLY nervous about it though because I see some people have called them bogus.
I have purchased and used the Braves ticket vouchers from the smart circle. They worked perfectly for me. There are a few catches though, 1st you can’t call ahead and reserve tickets, but you can go the the ticket office window at the stadium and use them to get tickets to any future game. usually I try to plan ahead and when I go to a game I go ahead and get tickets for a future game, that way I know before hand that I have seats reserved. It’s a great deal, if you use the tickets. I think alot of people purchase them and never use them and that’s how they make their money.
I have used the Smart Circle Cards. They are great way to take your family or girlfriend out. Really. No problems whenever I go.
I use them for ATL Braves and Atl Hawks. I thought is was to good to be true. I used them. Now I am hooked. I look for them every year.
I would NEVER buy anything from The Smart Circle. My husband purchased a gift certificate to a local salon with Smart Circle, when I tried to redeem the certificate with the salon, they (the salon) told me that they were not offering those services, but I could call smart circle and get my money back. When I tried to call smart circle, I talked to a customer service rep, and they told me I could not get my money back because I was 30 days from my expiration date and I had to be 60 days so they could only exchange it for something else. Nothing else they offered compared to the certificate I got.
When I asked to speak with the supervisor, I was told she was busy and would call me back. Two days later I called again asked to speak with the supervisor and was told she was not there. I just tried to call again and she was not in yet. When I asked to speak with the person over her head I was told they would not give that information. I was then told that since my certificate expired tomorrow I was taking a chance in waiting to talk with her.
BEWARE OF SMART CIRCLE!
